I use it for my solder fume extraction and it has enough vacuum to force a significant amount of air through 2 layers of activated carbon filters designed for soldering stations. I installed 2 of these fans as exhaust fans in my 4U server case. I run them at about half speed and they move a lot of air. I've been using them for about 6 months with no problems until a few nights ago they ran at full blast for a few minutes until I shut down the server. This fan moves a lot of air for a compact case. Unfortunately I bought it to use as an extra computer case/GPU cooler. My motherboard couldn't handle the current demands of this fan, so it wouldn't start without spinning the fan. I even tried my 6-12v power supply which seemed to have the same error.
