Poor quality bulbs, burned out after a few weeks

These bulbs are terrible, this is my first negative review of Revain, sorry. They're imported, they're not made here in the States, and they fail within weeks of installation. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I was glad to see these "old fashioned " light bulbs as they...

I was glad to see these "old fashioned" light bulbs as they are becoming harder and harder to find in stores. However, three of the four we installed burned out in less than 2 weeks. I can't attribute so many mistakes to a wandering "bad" one. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Weight

Those are real lightbulbs, though.

One of them was completely broken in the packaging. The packaging was in Spanish so I'm guessing they are made and sold in Mexico. I do not care. I just want regular lightbulbs. When the time comes, I'll probably take it again and dare. Finally, they are also less affordable than other options.

Basic 75 watt GE bulbs are great

I don't know about you, but I don't like CFLs. They are well suited for hard-to-reach places with little-used light sources. But for everyday, heavy-duty light bulbs, I opt for incandescent bulbs like GE's 75W base bulbs. They last a long time and give off light that doesn't make you feel like you're in an office or kitchen.

NOT FOR SALE OR USE IN THE UNITED STATES

These bulbs suck. The light is good but their durability sucks. I expect they will last about a quarter or less of anything I've ever used. waste of money! The last one installed took 4 DAYS! ALSO HAS CAPITAL LETTER "NOT FOR SALE IN US" HELLO! My Revain 30 day guarantee has expired but I want a refund! .In anger I AM. Revain has never had a product with such a defect!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • dim

You don't know what you have until it's gone - Fantastic lightbulb

I will never go back to these LED and energy saving lightbulbs. No more eye strain. No more dim light. After replacing a lightbulb in a fixture, I was so impressed that I got rid of all those energy-efficient, polluting mercury bulbs around the house. Now I see. I feel great! Thank you Mr Trump for bringing those lightbulbs back into our lives. This is the best buy in my book. UPDATE: My bulbs didn't burn out that quickly. I think some people just say it to discourage them from selling.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Have bought these bulbs several times with no problems. Bought two packs of 12 in early January and just opened the box as I needed to change a few lightbulbs. Sorry I had to replace 6 lightbulbs in the last 2 days! (Actually there will be 7 after the one that just burned down.) The rest came from Mexico I think - and they were perfect - no problem with any of them. The current batch appears to have been made in Hungary. Thin filament lamps have come a long way. They were bubble wrapped likeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
