Will not fit current models

The cable looks and feels good, but it doesn't carry enough signal to connect a cable modem. I switched to a thicker cable and the signal came back. Your mileage may vary depending on signal strength and existing cable length, but that didn't work for me. Maybe I missed something.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No performance

Like many others in this 1 star category

As with many others in this 1 star category the screw part came loose from the cable connector after a few weeks. I won't get that again. I'm looking for replacement connectors and a stripping and crimping tool kit. But since I'm relatively unlikely to use it too much, it might be cheaper to buy a better cable to replace at this point. But anything that looks the same - forget it!

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Avoid Poor Quality RG59

I had a simple need for an inexpensive coaxial cable that would run into my garage and our TV antenna. Technically it worked, but what a cheap cable. Same issues as others with connectors and when I tried to add my own it was obviously poor build quality. I ended up throwing it away and bought a much better quality cord at my local hardware store for less than a dollar more. I wish I had done that from the start. Very disappointed with this waste of money.

Pros
  • Complete Kit
Cons
  • Empty

I am satisfied with this product.

From Revain's photos I didn't know if the cable came with gold or nickel plated connectors. It came with gold. The cable is high quality and just what I wanted. For home use I prefer the RG59 - it's easier to handle and use than the RG6 I'm used to because it's not as stiff and thick and more flexible. How well it will work, I don't have any test equipment so I don't know; but it seems to be working fine. It's a coax cable, so you can say it has a copper core and either works or it doesn't. I…

  • The list is getting long.
