From Revain's photos I didn't know if the cable came with gold or nickel plated connectors. It came with gold. The cable is high quality and just what I wanted. For home use I prefer the RG59 - it's easier to handle and use than the RG6 I'm used to because it's not as stiff and thick and more flexible. How well it will work, I don't have any test equipment so I don't know; but it seems to be working fine. It's a coax cable, so you can say it has a copper core and either works or it doesn't. I think those special connector ends are a little tricky to twist and screw in with your fingers (because sometimes the cable wants to twist with the end of the connector when you twist it), but it's no big deal. You can always use a small wrench if you have to - I don't need it. Considering the price I think that's a lot.
