UL listed, good quality, polarized.

They are polarized, ie there must be no voltage on the outer casing of the screw bulb. If you're shocked it's time to grab a socket tester, you may have swapped the hot and neutral parts. Also note that although they are rated at 660 watts if you stick a strong incandescent bulb in and plug it into a ceiling outlet there will be too much heat for a polypropylene body, even phenolic ones can have problems. To be honest I wasn't expecting this when I first started looking, and yet I found exactly what I expected (having failed to find it at the hardware store).
