I wore them for Christmas on the weekend of November 6th and on December 27th they stopped working. So I will never buy these lamps again. They are not worth the money, only lasted a month.

I used to have 5 rows of large commercial GE icicles for my house front, but one of them didn't work this year. I could NOT find a suitable replacement kit so I bought them. Just two sets of these bulbs replaced the five sets I had previously, use much less power and are quicker to install. They look just as nice as the old set.

I ordered two boxes of icicles from two different places. They were new in the box but an older version. The newer version is much easier to hang. I would have thought they were all newer now as this vendor was sold out and I had to go elsewhere. The newer version hangs in just a few minutes. The old version is about 1/2 hour. The difference is how they package them so that the icicles fall off easily. Both lamps are the same, only the packaging is different.

I don't really know how they think they are LED, it must be the same simple 2 prong cable I grew up with in the 80's . When I took the bag out of the box, small pieces of the lightbulb scattered in all directions. So before I even did anything I plugged it in and all threads worked. I kept going and hanging it up and found one bold font that was missing/broken but all the others kept working. So I give him the benefit of the doubt that he still hasn't straightened up, but that's how it works…
