quality product. Suitable for incandescent lamps

Color temperature very good (not bright white, almost blue like some lamps). Brightness and functionality in a three-pronged socket/switch are as expected. I will note that according to my kilowatt meter this lamp actually uses less power than advertised and appears to be a good quality product. I don't know about the durability, give it a couple of years, but it's a very good product that seems better than advertised (at least for the energy consumed).

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Vulgarity

LIGHT LIKE A BULB

TOO EARLY TO TALK ABOUT DURABILITY - BUT I ACCEPTED THE REPLACEMENT OF 3 BULBS ON MY DESK AND BED. I NEED A GOOD BRIGHT BUT SOFT LIGHT - SO THIS IS SOFT WHITE NOT DAY WHITE. OTHERS COMMENTED ON THE ORDER IN WHICH THE BRIGHTNESS REPRESENTS – IT ENDS AT THE LOWEST SETTING AND DOES NOT START THERE; COMPLETELY GOOD WITH ME. MY WORKSPACE IS WELL LIGHTED AND I HAVE CONSTANT LIGHT STRONG ENOUGH FOR NIGHT READING. SO VERY GOOD CHOICE. LET THEM KNOW IF YOU STILL AGE 13. MAY BE.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Safety

Cycles - medium/high/low. Be sure to pay attention to the color when buying!

Energy saving lamp. Works weird. changes to med. then up, then down. I've never seen a 3 strip light before. I've tried this on several lamps to see if the problem is with our lamp. The same cycle no matter what lamp I use it in. These lamps are available in the traditional soft white color and in the "Blue" daylight version. Be careful when ordering. If you want the traditional yellow light of an incandescent bulb choose a soft white light, if you want a bright bluish light choose daylight…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Only available in white

Philips LED 472464 is better on every level

I usually buy Philips LED 472464 but it was out of stock so I tried GE's counterpart. I found that this lamp has some minor flaws compared to the Philips. This GE lamp is OK or not OK in brightness. The first click gives you 100W of brightness, the second click gives you 150W of brightness, the third click gives you 50W of brightness and the fourth turns it off. Philips case. The lamp has a slight delay when turning on, while Philips turns on without delay. The price for 2 packs of Philips is…

Works as advertised.

They work. I bought these after wasting my time with a cheaper brand. Both the original and replacement batches were defective. The brightness order is not low to high as usual, but 100 W, 150 W to 50 W. Doesn't really matter. Either way, you'll have to cycle through all three settings by turning the lights on or off. The convenience is that when the light is used in a bedroom, it only takes one click to switch from low to off. 50W, 100W and 150W have a great advantage over the traditional 40W,

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Funny story. I have a bunch of 3-way flashlights at home from different manufacturers with different lighting. I noticed that you don't do all three levels of brightness - it seemed so. It seemed to go low, medium, and low again. So I bought this bulb and it worked just like the broken one I had. Other reviews say it's medium high and then low, but the first and third brightness levels are very similar and the average brightness level really doesn't look like 150W to me. So I really think it's…
