Still works great although it doesn't match our D/W!

We needed to replace the valve on our 1960's Magic Chef dishwasher and I ransacked Revane. I found this among many others for a reasonable price. Got caught right and just had to change the installation setup. It's dishwasher safe and works great! This old dishwasher is like a typhoon in a box. washes dishes like crazy because we replaced the valve and it worked again. cool Reduce reuse by recycling!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some bugs

The packaging shows original GE equipment.

I bought a fancy GE dishwasher in 2012 and I love it. I was surprised to see that this valve leaked and dripped water onto my wooden floor for a couple of weeks before noticing the lead. Luckily my floor is resin impregnated bamboo and doesn't absorb a lot of water or I'd have to buy a new floor at new value. Extreme care should be taken when changing this value as the plastic case should not be used as a lever to connect the water. Lines to value assembly.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgrade available

was working on my GE Profile Model PDWT580V00SS dishwasher.

I had water leaking into the basement and I removed the protective panel and found that water was leaking around the water supply valve. First I replaced the flexible hose but it still leaks. I thought I should buy a new dishwasher but I did a little looking and found that this water inlet can be removed and replaced and found the part at Revain and actually received it the next day, I was able to replace it myself and the water again turn it on and great relief, no leaks And I have my…

SAVE HUNDREDS ON REPAIR

Hundreds saved! My dishwasher didn't wash well. After some troubleshooting, I found that the machine wasn't filling up with enough water. I could pay a technician at least $150 for the trip alone, plus an hourly rate for the time he is in my apartment. However, I decided to take the risk and buy the part myself. Unplug the machine, pull it out of the cabinet, tilt it, remove the old inlet valve and install the new one. It took some time and patience, but my machine was working great again.

Dishwasher didn't drip, that has been fixed.

My dishwasher is turned on but no water came out. I heard it as if he was trying to go through the motions but nothing happened. I looked at possible problems and this part was one of three possible problems. After narrowing down the other two, I thought this was the only solution. I stalled and now my dishwasher works great. This part saved me a lot of money to repair and even more to replace my dishwasher. This part works as intended and I am happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • There are other interesting variants.

This doesn't officially match my GE dishwasher according to internet/website logic, but works great. Apparently the solenoid was the same as the [broken] one I took out of my dishwasher and all I needed was a brass "knee" for the cables, which btw came with the (separate) feed hose I bought had to replace mine frost damaged. The threaded fasteners on the steel case didn't work with the old screws on the original, but I just used some small zip fasteners (you can use any old small nuts and bolts

  • Amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

Easy repair of a leaking original valve. Lucky woman!

Bought for my GE GDWF150R30SS dishwasher. Removing the elbow from the broken part was a big problem and I ended up damaging the threads. It takes a lot of torque to loosen, it may need to be wrapped in a washcloth. Took the knee to the ACE hardware store and a very helpful gentleman found an exact replacement. Putting a knee in a replacement valve is just as painful (don't forget the Teflon). Do yourself a favor and tighten it before connecting anything else. If it feels like it can't go any…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Expensive

My 12 year old GE Profile GLD8760N20SS dishwasher kept pouring water and ended up flooding the entire kitchen floor. The water continued to flow even after the reset button was pressed to flush the water and turn off the machine. The intake valve wasn't difficult to replace, but you will end up with a broken joint or two because there isn't much room in the lower left front where the valve is located. You have to pull out the dishwasher to get enough space. The best access point is on the left.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Hard to say
