Works great in accessories

I've been using it for a while and haven't had any problems with it. Since I no longer need it at work, I wanted to repurpose it for off-label use, tested the holding power, which was 19 ounces, not the advertised 9 ounces. It doesn't matter if it's just about holding your CB's mic.

Truckers know them.

This holder is designed to hold my huge CB radio in check. It does a great job of preventing the CB from becoming an off-road weapon. Highly recommended for anything you need to have safely on hand. A simple product, excellently executed. Highly recommended by truckers for good reason.

Mike Keeper: Clamps

I installed this in a UTV for a GMRS radio that is top mounted. Due to bumpy trails, the standard mic holder will not hold the mic. I attached it to the roll bar and the mic doesn't interfere until you need it. This allows you to quickly lower the mic and retract quickly. It is ideal for off-road use.

Very important. - Microphones and accessories

Great product. I use it to mount my CB mic for easy access for quick and easy use. As a logging driver, I use it constantly to shoot markers while driving through the forest. Reaching the microphone when it's attached to the dashboard has always been a problem. Now I don't have to take my eyes off the road.

Great Accessory for CB Microphone!

I put this in my Freightliner CB mic and it works great! I no longer have to take my eyes off the road to reach for the mic and hang it off. I've been using it for at least 6 months and it's used MANY times throughout the day. The spring tension hasn't deteriorated and it still retracts like the day I installed it.

They are everywhere for a reason.

I am an OTP driver. They are so common in trucking because they work so well. I wouldn't dream of going back to the old button hangers we used. Whenever you want or need to use your microphone, it's right there. Fast or slow without having to take your eyes off the road. Just reach out and grab or just let go in the right place. A much simpler and easier way to communicate with CB while driving.

. Attaching the end to the microphone itself, I liked that. New microphone holder model.

Years ago this mic holder had a bungee cord with a loop at the end to attach to the mic itself. I really liked him. The new model of this microphone holder has a nylon cord with a clamping device that allows you to adjust the position of the microphone in the truck almost anywhere. I admit the plastic clip is a little annoying, but you get used to it. That being said, the Gear Keeper is a great product and better than that stupid mic clip. Revain's price also beats any price for this productโ€ฆ
