Useless Indicator for Serial Connections

After I put it to the test, I found this indicator to be completely useless. It did not accurately display any serial connections and ended up causing more problems than it solved.

Prevents Hayes 2400 Smart Modem from communicating with alarm panels

I was able to install a Windows 10 device without any problems. Connected the unit to a Hayes 2400 Smart Modem and used the alarm software to boot the system. Got a handshake with the alarm center but hung up immediately.

Works great, but the USB C side is a bit cheap.

This product works as advertised but I wish the Type-C connector was more reliable. The pin piece of metal that fits into the Type-C slot is poorly connected to the rest of the case. It was always a little loose, but I needed a converter, so I put it to work.
