You'll never need to buy another socket set ever again

I bought these sockets roughly a year ago and have used them quite often in a shop setting. The value of these sockets compared to other brands is insane! You can literally go get a Snap-On set and it cost you more money (roughly $500-$600) and you would get less variety of sockets and in my opinion realistically the same quality. I'm not going to bash the quality of snap on impact sockets as I've used them and they are well made but with the price of the snap on, its unjustifiable to go that…

Pros
  • Black phosphate corrosion-resistant coating, laser etched with high-visibility markings and hard stamped labels
Cons
  • Some users may need a more extensive set

This is a great set. I would definately recommend it.

Not much to say, except this a great metric socket set. Personally I like the portability of my tools being in individual carrying cases. I'm not always working out of my garage, and it's nice to be able to grab what I need and go. This case is rugged and durable. The sockets themselves are excellent, and the range of sizes covers my needs.

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Can be challenging to identify the correct size without proper labeling

Excellent deal on a full set

Love these gear wrench sockets so much that I've bought two sets. One for me and one for a friend for Christmas. The main thing I like is that it is a full set that does not skip sizes. They come in a very nice durable blow molded carrying case.I can usually grab this case and my Milwaukee impact gun and I'm good to go. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the newer style 4 lug impact swivels to get into those right places.

Pros
  • Just what I needed
Cons
  • May not be suitable for DIY projects

Set is decent. But quality control must suck because my 10mm that came in the set won't fit a 10mm bolt . Its labled 3/8 around the socket but the laser etching says 10mm.

Pros
  • The GEARWRENCH 29 Pc. Impact Socket set is made of high-quality materials that guarantee durability and longevity
Cons
  • May not always work well with an impact wrench

Great tools and great company

I have had these for three years now, using them at work every day. Over that time I have broken a few of them, but the company is great to warranty each one with very little hassle. In fact, they are going above and beyond to make sure they meet their warranty claims.

Pros
  • Work great haven’t broke yet
Cons
  • Can be difficult to identify the correct size

Good set of Chrome-Moly sockets

Gear wrench impact sockets are Chrome-Moly steel which is only material impact sockets should be made from. All sizes correct but I think they should not come with extra oil from manufacturing process still present. No big deal but just a thought. BTW I have not broken any gear wrench brand sockets yet. I bought at $134 and was happy enough with the price

Pros
  • The set meets or exceeds ANSI standards, ensuring that it is safe and reliable to use
Cons
  • Not the best for heavier duty projects

Don't need them often

But when you do these are a lifesaver. Couldn’t justify mac or Sk for this minimal use tool so these are perfect for the money. These work better than a standard universal on a socket b

Pros
  • GEARWRENCH is a trusted brand that is known for producing high-quality tools
Cons
  • Can cause some discomfort when using for extended periods

Invaluable socket set

I have used this many times in the short time I have owned it. The 6 point design has not let me down yet. I use this in combination with a Milwaukee 1/2" impact driver with 1400 ft lb of breaking force and these hold up beautifully. It is nice that there is such a large range of continuous sizes included. This is the most complete set I have seen at a very reasonable price. The case could be a little better, but overall this is a solid must have for the weekend warrior mechanic.

Pros
  • The impact sockets are designed to reduce wear and tear on your power tools, prolonging their lifespan
Cons
  • May not come with clear instructions for use

Pretty sure they’re the same as Matco.

Look the same and fee the same as a Matco set. Pretty sure they’re probably the exact same socket without the ADV Matco printed on it for $200 more.

Pros
  • Very good tools for the money seems to work as they should
Cons
  • May require some maintenance to keep in good condition

Very happy best in my review

Got it in less time than expected multiple products all at one time very happy to feel valued as a customer I’ll continue using revain

Pros
  • As a professional auto technician. I use these quite a bit. So far so good.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use on larger nuts and bolts

Decent socket set on my review.

Seems to be a good socket set. 8mm to 36mm with no sizes skipped like most sets. Sizes are etched and stamped into each socket. The plastic container has 2 lightweight metal buckles and 2 plastic snaps on the sides. I hope the warranty holds up.

Pros
  • The markings are wearing off very quickly and the holder is pretty flimsy. But they work fine.
Cons
  • Some pieces may be lost or damaged during storage
