I bought one of these wrenches to keep in my backpack so I can remove my single speed wheels in the event of a flat tire and was disappointed with the outdoor handling - end of the wrench. There were obvious machining marks, and the slot that the 15mm nut would fit in doesn't have flat sides parallel to each other (they appear to be wavy due to poor machining). I emailed Amazon for a replacement and my second key looked the same. The key works fine but I just expected better quality.
Today I was able to apply it by aligning the rear wheel of the bike. Really handy tool, very small so keep that in mind. But for the intended use it is perfect. I use an empty Ovaltine plastic bottle as an emergency/bike tool kit in my backpack and it fits in there easily and takes up almost no space. When using it make sure you get the optimal angle for leverage and I'd recommend wearing gloves in case you slip (your knuckles are always close to what you're working on with this shortened one).
I decided to buy new ratchets. sockets and keys. I already have Snap On. SC. Matko. The Craftsman Wrieght and a few No Namers popping up in your toolbox here and there. My choice fell on Icon. Gear wrench and Tecton. I ordered a 12mm Tekton ratchet wrench and a 14mm short wrench from Gearwrench. The first gwrench had a small nick or scratch.
