Great Torque Wrench

Great Torque Wrench I've had some of the best. This one works just as well as the big brands. Don't be fooled, although it's made in China, it's well made and of pretty good quality

Pros
  • Torque Wrench
Cons
  • Safety

Very good quality and finish of this torque wrench

Very good quality and finish of this torque wrench. I've heard of many lb-in torque wrenches that don't make a distinct clicking sound or feel when torque is achieved. I can tell you that even at the lowest 30 in/lb the click and feel is very noticeable. The chrome is very nice and the knurled handle is very strong and comfortable to hold. There is no plastic anywhere and I prefer a ring clasp over a screw clasp at the bottom. All in all, I recommend this to anyone looking for a mid-range…

As good as brand name tools and a quarter of the cost

If you are an automotive technician, I highly recommend this torque wrench. I haven't had any problems with it or with the cars it worked on. Much cheaper than tool trolleys and just as good. The technicians at the store keep asking me to borrow it, especially for its ability to spin counterclockwise. Another cool feature is ft-lbs on the front and NM on the back, so you don't have to run to your computer or look up the conversion online on your phone. Also comes with a calibration certificate…

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • The list is long.

Worry Free: Power Tools & Hand Tools

There are cheaper and more expensive torque wrenches out there. I got this for the reassurance of trusting the tool. It has a good positive click and is accurate according to my rustic test: A 3/8 screw has a typical torque of 15 ft-lb (180 in/lbs) without lubrication. I used a trusty CDI torque wrench (made by Snap On) to the low end of its 100-750 in-lb range and torqued to 150 in-lb. I used a notched wrench to tighten the same and the fastener didn't budge. I set this notched wrench to 160…

Peace of mind is best in hand tools

Some torque wrenches are cheaper and some are more expensive. I got this for the reassurance of trusting the tool. It has a good positive click and is accurate according to my rustic test: A 3/8 screw has a typical torque of 15 ft-lb (180 in/lbs) without lubrication.
