Installation note best suited for single board computers

If you are installing this in a socket with supports you may need to flip this spacer and screw into the support, otherwise the screw inserted under the spacer will not allow it to lie flat in your corps sit.

Pros
  • decent performance
Cons
  • unreliable

Great POE product for the price

Works great, fan is quiet, cheaper than others without a fan. Just plug and play and it works. Even leaves room to access the rest of the GPIO pins on the Raspberry 4, which is all I've used on other older Paspberry PIs that don't support POE.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

Works as stated.

It would be nice to be able to manage color. No big deal. One element that could be slightly improved is the wiki which shows a clear picture of where the heatsinks go. I found it out by carefully examining the small picture. So everything was fine. But it could be clearer. Those fussy things aside, they are amazing and well worth the money.

Pros
  • Convenience
Cons
  • Upgrade Availability

So far so good: single board computer

I have a couple of non-insulated rpi poe hats from lovepi and a brief power flicker in the house killed one of the boards, I switched everything to insulated hats and all seems fine work. I didn't know but it has about 5 blue LEDs to light up the counter, I don't mind but depending on where you want to place it some people might not like it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • flimsy

Works great with computers and accessories

The Raspberry Pi usually feels sturdy until you tug on a worn power connector. This allows you to remove all other cables and connect with 1G/s for many projects. I have a couple of used 48 port PoE switches and this is the perfect use. This is how I run all my ongoing Pi projects from now on. No more crappy USB power supplies for me!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Lightly dented
