Quiet (the fan is not even audible and rotates rather slowly), but cools the Pi 4b without any problems. Much cooler than just chip heatsinks and a 40mm fan. The best case I've used so far. It simply goes with you and cools all warm parts. The only minor issue is that the acrylic window for the wifi reception and cable grommet sits loose in the slot, so I just cut out some very small strips of double sided tape and glued them to the top and bottom grooves holding the window. Amazing coverage! I

This cover is very easy to fit. The machined aluminum could have been milled a bit smoother, but it made a lot of contact with the 3 main chips on the Pi 4. With cpuburn-a53, I couldn't get it to go above 73C with the fan off, which is about room temperature. Which is good as the fan was definitely louder than on: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WR8D4ZL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I've tried 3.3v and 5v and both are annoying. So I just unplugged the fan. It is very…

Best Passively Cooled Raspberry Pi 4 Case

Pros: - Surrounds the entire Pi board - Heatsink pads cover all components that generate heat except WiFi - Thermal pads actually come with the heatsink and all components in contact - Cooling Performance is identical to other passive cases when the fan is off. Clear acrylic window improves wireless performance and makes status indicators visible. although technically it has a fan. The fan is optional and I removed mine by unscrewing the three easily accessible screws between the fan blades…

Excellent solid case quiet fan

I was hesitant to give five stars or not but I think it's so close I have no issues with it. A few small issues marred the whole experience. When I first received it, it was assembled with tiny hex screws for shipping, but that's fine because it comes with a hex wrench. The problem was that I got screws 1-2-3 off with no problem, but screw 4 (no, they're not numbered, it just happened) was so tight I couldn't get it out without removing it. Screwdriver or wrench or both I'm not sure. But I…

Pretty good design, extremely poor production.

I bought this to support 2ghz pi4. (It replaces a plastic Canakite case with a fan and small heatsinks.) Bottom line: You don't have to buy a coupler kit and modify the case to use it. (Updated to be more concise and to include test results. Update 2: I finally managed to get the screws deep enough to tighten the case, so upped my rating by one star.) Good: Cooling. I overclock to 2GHz (poor) and 750MHz (gpu). I control fan speed with pi4 hardware pwm based on temperature. (You'll need a simple
