I was pleasantly surprised when these combs arrived so quickly and doubly surprised that they worked exactly as promised. A thin "medium" curled wire seems to be just what is needed for a side comb to be strong enough to hold short, mid-length hair. I also ordered an embellished comb with rhinestones and pearls, but the weight makes the comb so heavy that it falls out and doesn't hold up medium-short fine hair. Excellent purchase.

These plastic combs are pretty good so far. I have curly thin hair and not much of it. The ones that match my hair work well. As you can see from the first photo some of them clearly have a defect coming out of the mold. They will not penetrate your hair, and if they do, they will pull at your hair when you pull it out. Not all were like that. I'm keeping them, although I think four of them are useless.

I ordered clear combs because my hair is silver and I like to wear them without pulling the roots. I wore 4 of these today because of the heat and they stayed in place all day and held my shoulder length hair where I styled it. This is a well made product that is well worth the price and is almost invisible on my hair. Would definitely buy again.

Because of the way the teeth are made they really stay in my fine hair without falling out or shifting. I was able to give some to my granddaughter as she also has very thin hair. I think they will last quite a while as the plastic is thicker than many combs I've had. I'm happy with them.

I have thick, slightly wavy, thin hair, even when combed all the way, pieces of the comb in my hair often break when I try to use it to tie the knot to keep. Although they're good for a few uses before that happens. I wish they were students but for a cheap hair clip that's ok.

Those easy hair combs looked gorgeous. They hold fine, thin hair fairly well if you're not overly active. The main reason they don't get 5 stars is that they have very sharp edges on the sides and on the ends of the teeth that cut hair! The bad thing is when you already have fine, thin hair.

I use them for different purposes. One is when I pull my hair up to hold the strands and hair that still needs to grow ¼ to ½ inch before it stays up. They work much better than invisible bobby pins that don't have enough grip or strength and just slide around. I have transparent ones (I have blonde hair) and they look better than a bunch of invisible hair placed to hold the hair. I only need one or two.
