Good at first. c Brake pads

Excellent pads out of the box. Initially, the stopping power is better than stock. I rode them down the mountain on one of my first rides. The rear triangle overheated, broke through par and glazed my rotor. This was not the case with standard pads.

Pros
  • Brake pads
Cons
  • Slightly torn

A cheaper alternative to other metal pads.

I tried these instead of the metal Jagwire pads I was using. They seem about the same in terms of stopping power (good) and noise (only loud when wet, which is normal for metal pads). My pair (front) only have a few hundred miles so can't comment on durability yet. Overall not as quiet and smooth as organic SRAM OEMs but expect them to last longer than organic and be a lot cheaper.

Pros
  • Brake Parts
Cons
  • Some Bugs

What is purity? Best in Sports

I had bimetal (loud, a little whimsical) and bio (less whimsical, wears out super fast) and wanted to try ceramic. They perform the way you expect your brakes to: quiet, firm, reliable braking. every time I love these pads and they seem to work much better than the other two. I ride a lot in the Portland hills (200,000ft uphill Jan-August) so hard braking is crucial. Absolutely the best I've ever had and half the price of name brand pads. More please!

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • So far so good
