They work surprisingly well, just not very well together. The clamps are very easy to use and stay in place. Much easier than trying to wrap your fingers in foil. And these are my favorite pads for different cleaning steps when applying gel polish. They stick together well and are lint free! However, cotton balls are still better for removal.
