Honestly it sucks. 3-5 of them is a complete loss as they are kinda translucent and NOT pigmented AT ALL and never used. Those that are sufficiently pigmented are not particularly smooth. It also takes a lot of layers to get an opaque color. I kept them but wouldn't buy them if I could do it again. A picture that, in my opinion, does too much justice.

I've seen some bad reviews for this product but I'm glad I didn't have the same experience. It was easy to put on. It takes 5 to 6 coats before you get a nice firm coat with good color payoff, but I'd rather that than bumpy 2 or 3 coats of nails. I haven't had any chipping like others say, just make sure you put on enough coats. This also solves the transparent color issue that others were having. If I could give zero stars I would. Gellen really needs to work on their product because it's basically a scam. colors are missing. I used 5/12 powders and each has horrible pigments. When I first used them I also bought a dip kit and used the whole bottle of base coat on the first night. I tried applying more than 6-7 coats and even then the powder was completely transparent (not pretty) and the color was barely visible. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to write one and mention how transparent these powders are. They require so many coats to be even remotely opaque that it's a bit ridiculous, and even after five coats of material I can still see through some colors. I found a way around this: use a coat of white powder first before proceeding with these colors and while it still takes an extra coat to evenly apply the color it prevented the translucent effect. I really wanted this to be a good product because I LOVE the colors. I even tried this product twice to decide when in doubt, but NO. Both times my nails started cracking and chipping after just a few days. I've been doing a deep manicure at home for a few months now, the one I did before lasted about 3 weeks. What a bummer to be on vacation when your freshly painted nails are chipping and breaking/falling off.
