$8 You must be kidding

$8 per bolt .30 cents You are kidding GM should replace a bad battery cable no matter how many miles you've driven your Chevy Cruze, especially if the power steering is gone a BAD crimp depends at the factory i will buy a cable but 8 bucks for a stud .30 cents?

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • There are nuances

Exactly the right article.

Just the screw I needed to replace the negative battery cable on my 2014 Chevy Cruze. I couldn't reuse one of the cable studs I removed so I had to order that one. Ordered late in the evening on the 26th, received on the 29th. A very happy customer. I have attached photos of the screw in the package as well as installed.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Could damage

Required for Chevy Cruze

Ordered for a 2012 Chevy Cruze to replace the negative battery. Fits perfectly. I wish standard shipping was faster. I wasn't thrilled to pay the extra $15 for shipping 2 days later, but I didn't have a choice. If you have a first generation Cruze and your radio works and the "service stabilizer" keeps coming up, replace the negative wire and get this screw because you're going to need it. If you have an old battery, replace that as well.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Expensive

Disappointed to have to buy separately.

A common problem with the Chevy Cruze is that the battery ground cable has been incorrectly connected and the battery will lose contact with the computer, causing serious problems. This cable is being recalled and the retailer will replace it free of charge. However, I don't have time to take the car to the dealer and service it or leave it there. So I bought a cable and replaced it myself. The cable is $25 but it doesn't come with that screw which costs another (I don't remember exactly how…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • dull packaging
