Cannot connect device to smartphone

No batteries. The device could not be paired with the smartphone after downloading the app. Wouldn't recommend it. There is no point in storing data for reference.

Great Contractor Gift

This was a Christmas present for a contractor who does a lot of work for us and we don't feel sorry to death so I wanted to give him a Christmas present as a thank you. He didn't have it and he was delighted with it.

It was not delivered what is described in the instructions

From the packaging and the instructions it is clear that the kit includes a holster and a pouch with a belt loop. I ordered this for my carpenter husband and was very disappointed that it didn't have any of the items mentioned! False advertising.

Use new linear batteries

When I took it out of the shipping carton, there was a rattle in the packaging. When I opened the package I found the batteries had exploded through the plastic wrap and the parts were rolling around the box. The product has not been damaged. I put new batteries in and it worked.

Do not buy to use with app

The ToolSmart maker's app is awful - like it's only half finished, even though it's really easy to connect to a laser device. Tried to use it with another app, RoomScan, a third-party app that supports "bluetooth laser" couldn't connect. I have a roulette. I was trying to improve my measurement/capture experience when we moved to a new house. Money and time: wasted.
