💧 Optimize Your GeneralAire 990-13 Humidifier with this High-Quality Water Filter Review

I've looked at this gasket in HD and Lowes and none of them fit. found it here and it was correct as advertised. I have a 30 year old General Filter 1040.

Long life filter as described and fairly easy to install. They were the same as the originals and cost a little less than what the maintenance company charges. I will not pay them again, but I will do it myself. Many Thanks.

I just installed this in my humidifier so it can only be used for a few days but seems ok. Had to replace my old one and couldn't find it in any of the big stores. Who would have thought that I should go to Revane first.

Until last year I didn't realize the need for an annual seal replacement! It was a quick, easy, and affordable way to get a new gasket, and easy to replace even for a (seemingly) ignorant housewife like me.

I had to return them as they were not the metal finish pictured. I don't know if all sellers have them like this or just the one we took them from. But be careful if your humidifier requires a metal edge to fit properly and without gaps like ours.

This was the OEM part that came with the humidifier when it was installed but I went back to the dealer who stopped him for a replacement, they wanted over $30 for it . I started using a cut that matched the brand but had a serious material defect between the metal outer shells which caused the drain pipe to clog which caused water to flow to the top of the ovens and then into the oven and that control unit wetted. Burning out several circuits of the circuit board.
