I got it in stock for $20 so it's ok for that price but there are plenty of other options in the normal price range. It's good for a tutorial, comes with a reference card and a small wall chart. The jaw spring is good and firm, the skullcap has magnets to keep it closed. The rooms are fine. I plan on painting it with varnish to make it more natural in color like some of the other models.

I was expecting the skull to be symmetrical but everything is detailed and only marked on one side and the other side is unmarked/poorly done. Also, there are certain spots that don't completely cut through/through which is frustrating because I bought this model to see where the channels start/end. Finally, the numbers appear to be painted on the skull, and they begin to wear off after just one day of holding the skull.

I really like this skull! As a graduate student trying to study anatomy at home without laboratory components, I found it difficult to understand the three-dimensional nature of the human body. This skull is anatomically accurate, MUCH cheaper than others I've looked at, and even comes with pre-drawn numbers and an answer sheet! It's a good weight, no weight, light or heavy.
