If I could best describe this product it would be: This is a cooling fan. It's on my table. It expels air at one of two speeds. It is well constructed, stands still and has air flowing through it. I'm not sexy anymore (besides my gorgeous looks) and I'm grateful for his presence. Plus, it comes with a giant clip that works well for giant bags of chips (or even smaller bags, if you insist).

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Poor instructions

This "fan " made me laugh out loud.

Do you remember cork airplanes with a plastic screw and rubber band? You'd make a better fan than that. All plastic parts were the same quality as the Cool Whip canister. The fan blades were NOT attached to the motor spindle at all. It just slid off, tilting the fan and therefore not spinning. Even at $14, it was possibly the worst purchase I've ever made. Never buy Revain. If this rating stops even one person from buying this fan, then I feel like I've made the world a better place.

Pros
  • a practical thing
Cons
  • for pensioners

great supporter! best heating, cooling and air quality

so happy with this purchase! I have two of these: white for the bathroom and black for work. I love that you can choose between a desktop base or a clip. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that you have to use a tool to attach the fan to the base (any base). This could be completely avoided if a wing nut were used instead of a conventional nut. It seems like a surprisingly simple detail that shouldn't be overlooked, which unfortunately isn't a deciding factor for me, so I still recommend this…

  • crossing my fingers
Cons
  • good but not great

Small, light, powerful - perfect for the office

I was looking for a small, quiet, inexpensive fan for my desk. Having a stand was a plus as the clip option was a bonus but I was willing to sacrifice the clip if price was an issue. Luckily this didn't happen! I also preferred a plug-in fan over a battery-only fan (it has both options) simply because I already have enough batteries! Pros: - Lightweight. - Easy to move/adjust. - Very quiet. .- Small enough to be discreet but powerful.- Easy and quick to assemble. Cons: - Not really, although I…

Great fan for a quiet office

I wanted something small and quiet for my desk where the office air conditioner doesn't get as well. I was hoping to mount it on the wall of my cubicle, but the cord wasn't long enough to reach my extension cord on the floor. Don't worry because instead I put the base on the table and just moved the phone to make room. There are 2 speed settings controlled by a switch on the back of the unit. At arm's length, the low level is (1) 69 decibels. Toggling to High (2) only increases the volume to 71

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Factor Set

Works well for my use

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure about this purchase - love it or quite hate it. But that's about what I've found for every 6 inch fan listed that comes close to this price point, so I went with this one to bet on and it works really well for my purpose. I use it in a 5x8 grow tent to move the air. a little. I currently have two, but ideally a third or even a fourth would be better and I run my fans at low speed. Too much air movement is not a plus. The goal is to simulate wind, not blow

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I'm not the biggest fan of this fan.

This is a fan. He blows things up. He's pretty good at fans. Nice and quiet. And blows the air around. You could even say it's fantastic. My problems relate to clips. That's not good for a clip. First, installing a small hex nut and thumbscrew is completely wrong from an assembly point of view. Here's how these things work if you want them to work: The hex nut is in the hex cavity. The cavity doesn't have to be that precise, it just needs to prevent the hex nut from turning. The reason you're…
