Exact match of replacement part. Works perfectly, the door won't open without help. Some things seem to be slipping. Funny, I thought the old part was plastic inside. It's not like this. this is metal It looks like the fault was the spring pushing the metal part up causing the gear to loosen and slip. In any case, this part did the trick. The door is now working properly again.

Shipping was fast and I was able to save a few parts - the only reason I give this product 2 stars instead of one. Of course, I could accidentally open the garage door, half an inch at most. On the first day, a half-dollar circle broke off one end of the plastic slide, causing the gear and clip to dislodge. I did not follow the instructions that came with the bottom bracket. Instead, I removed the motor from its overhead mounts and placed it on the ladder.
