2011 Chrysler 300C at Car Safety & Security

Perfect for replacing a factory camera that has stopped working intermittently. I would say the picture quality is slightly better during the day and about the same at night.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Just like the original!

This reversing camera is the perfect replacement! Image quality as ex works, distance displays and trajectory lines as ex works (I was convinced from my own bitter experience, not everyone has that!) Great purchase!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost everything fits

Great reversing camera at a great price!

Bought to replace the original rear camera on a 2014 Charger. Very easy to install and now like new! The price is several times lower than the dealer, and it took about 30 minutes to install. Needless to say, I am very happy with the results.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Works and costs less than MOPAR

Working (only 3 days so far), don't know if it's "OEM", it has a sticker that looks like my OEM part, but it was a bubble rap and a brown box, for me it was worth a try because MOPAR was about $425 for the piece alone. I can't tell the difference between the two in the back picture

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So far so good

COMPLETELY OEM! Would buy again.

A few months ago my reversing camera broke down but temporarily and without success (via YouTube I tried many remedies to fix the problem) I ordered the specified part. After a YouTube video or two, I was able to very easily replace the tutorial available to the gentlemen by Brian Freeman! Image quality looks just as good, and yes, the recommendations are still there. I would definitely buy again. In fact, I feel like buying a spare part. Thanks again.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are problems

Original Mopar replacement

After the camera started throwing errors like tilted image, static, black image randomly, my camera was officially fried. Was replaced with these and works 100% like the original camera before my 2014 Chrysler 300S failed. Better to spend $100 than burn $1000 or more at the dealer. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to remove the entire third brake light to install it. I hope this helps clear any concerns about this purchase. The box also had the original Mopar OEM barcode.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Some problems

Works 5 minutes and works great.

My application was for a 2011 Chrysler 300c. Conversely, the screen was black with "Check All Environments" or similar at the top. To remove/swap the camera I used a 1/4" ratchet with a 1/4" socket and inserted a #10 Torx bit into the socket as that is the type of screw head that holding the camera. It also avoids having to remove the entire lens assembly to swap out the camera and the risk of damaging the seal. This worked well for me and only took about 5 minutes. The picture from the camera…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I am impressed! suitable for automotive electronics

I received this camera today and installed it on my 2013 charger. Identical to the original camera, image quality, line calibration - all perfect. I watched a short youtube video before installing, once I had the tools together the installation took about 20 minutes, if you are more mechanically inclined you can do it faster. Now that I know exactly what to do, I can do it in 10 minutes. Piece of cake! Do yourself a favor and let the dealer through where he will take your arm and leg. I'm…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Legacy model

Easy to install and solved my problems

My backup camera on my 2014 Chrysler 300 has given me a lot of pleasure over the last few months due to sporadic performance. The dealer took a quick look and told me that a replacement radio unit (cost of $1,200) would be required to fix the problem. A few months ago the camera stopped working. I figured it was worth spending $125 and see what happens. Took 15 minutes to install (hardest part was getting the trunk trim brackets out (a table fork would probably help, but you can also find tools

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Almost never
