Fixed 2015 Suburban Trailer Service Msg

A Trailer Service system message was showing on my 2015 Chevy Suburban display. The truck has a tow package with factory tow and trailer controls which it replaced. No more messages!

Cons
  • I don't remember

My trailer brake alarm has been fixed!

Perfect replacement for 2014 Chevy Silverado trailer brake switch. My original gave me so many problems with the "Service Trailer Braking System" and after a huge headache I just replaced that switch on the dashboard and haven't had any problems since!

Fixed "Trailer Service Brakes " issue

My 2015 Chevrolet 2500HD had a "Trailer Service Brake" light on and also had no trailer brakes. Bad combo with a 40 foot 5 wheel RV. Installation took less than 5 minutes and now I have trailer brakes and no warning light! Great price but looks like GM lowered the price on this thing! The truck has 126,000 miles.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Didn't solve the problem

A fair number of reviews say the "trailer service brake" messages have been fixed. Mine didn't, and for exactly 36,100 miles (yes, 100 miles out of warranty) I had no trailer brakes. I gave it 5 stars because it's so much cheaper than a Chevy dealership, but it didn't solve my problem. I'm sure GM will remember this very common problem after I spend more money looking for parts.

  • Not the best

Fixed my "Trailer Brake Service " issue

After months of randomly receiving a "Trailer Brake Service" warning while driving and even taking my truck to the dealership to try and fix it fix the problem (which they couldn't do since they couldn't get the error code to trigger). I did some research on the internet and forums which led me to this product. Many people have said that you can buy this and replace it and that will solve the problem. AND IT WORKS! After the replacement there were no problems or warnings. The installation took…

  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...
