But for those looking to upgrade their sandpaper, it worked. A small bottle of oil is nothing special. Luckily it's reusable. The grinding aid was too weak for me.

I haven't used Arkansas Stones since I was a kid because I didn't like them, but Dans Stones are the best natural stones I've ever used. Super fine for what the stones consider, the main face is aluminum oxide. I usually only use medium and small and get great results. I recommend them, just make sure you have a rock big enough for your knives. The stone should be as long as the largest blade.

A sharpener with 3 stones arrived yesterday. That works great. A set of 23 degree angles is fine, but I bought it for rocks, not a small piece of plastic. it's worth every penny.
