Surprisingly Effective Automotive Valve

As a hesitant buyer, I wasn't sure if the Genuine Chrysler PCV Valve was worth the cost, but I am pleased to say that it exceeded my expectations. As a result of using this product, I found that my car's emissions were significantly reduced and it ran smoother overall. The installation process was a bit tricky, but once installed, this valve has been a worthwhile investment for my vehicle. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their automotive emissions.

Pros
  • Significantly reduces emissions and improves overall performance
Cons
  • Slightly tricky installation process

The original part works better than the aftermarket part

My car definitely works better with this part than the aftermarket part. The sad part is that both are too expensive for a PCV valve. As they say, so it is. If you want your machine to work properly, get this (if it's the right part number for you). Many also argue that "if it rattles, then it works". not right. I burned quite a bit of oil before replacing this part and the old one rattled fine.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I will add later

Fits RAM 1500 5.7L 2014 Hemi

Looks the same as the part I pulled out. Replacing the PCV valve does not take much time. All you need to do is remove the air filter hose and cosmetic cover. The PCV valve is towards the firewall but at the top of the engine and is hard to miss. You may need needle nose pliers or something to remove the old PCV valve as it is stuck. The whole job took maybe 10 minutes. The dealer I go to wanted to replace the valve for $160 parts and labor.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Not the best
