Faulty Cap Caused Overheating

This replacement cap did little to fix my overheating issues. In fact, it made matters worse by causing the temperature to skyrocket... The only positive is that it was easy to install. overall, i wouldn't recommend this cap to anyone looking for a reliable automotive replacement..

Just what I needed, OEM replacement cap for my 2011 Silverado. Remember to remove the new cap every time you change the oil (best time to do this, has nothing to do with changing the oil) to keep this new cap from drying out and sticking like the original.
