2002 Avalanche Z66 in bumpers

Fits my 2002 Avalanche Z66 perfectly. Replaced them when replacing the rear shock absorbers. Since they just snap into place, I'll keep an eye on them. I have a feeling they may fall out or wear out long before impact. Easy exchange.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

I no longer have that annoying rattle when the suspension bends.

They snap right into the frame-connected cups, restoring the comfort of a suburban ride. I no longer have those pesky bumps when the suspension sags. Incidentally, I put airbags on the Suburban's rear springs at the same time I installed these bumpers, and that helped a lot too.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Empty

Great product but a bit pricey for what it is.

Ideal for 2000 Suburban 4wd. After struggling to push them through while lying under a car in my garage, I decided to apply a light coat of Mobil 1 synthetic grease to the outside edge and use a 3/8 inch ratchet extension to push them in. It worked. I can't believe what a difference it makes to have whole bumpers again after driving on originals that are almost gone for so long.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Fits my 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71

The old one was worn out and fell into small pieces. I replaced both in the driveway without lifting the back end, just reaching in. I sprayed the brackets with silicon spray and rubbed the edges of the fenders with lithium grease before installing them. Insert the outermost edge first and push the rest up with your thumb and pressure. It connects right away. Five or six lugs keep them in place. There are no bolts or nuts to remove.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Zero

Again one looks like it has been in the sun for a long time

I have previously bought 2 front bumper braces and one looked like it was sitting in a window and the sun had bleached it out? The same goes for those two rear bumpers! One looks brand new, the other has an odd discoloration on one side like it has been in the sun for a long time! Room fluorescent lamps can also do this if they are on the shelf for a long time! I think the bleached one might fail sooner because it was weakened by UV damage!? These things are expensive for what they are!

Pros
  • Hands free work
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

This is the perfect rear bumper replacement for my 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 and 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT. The old, rotten rear bumpers popped out, and these new parts popped up right away. I used a flat head screwdriver to dig up the remains of the old, crumbling rear bumpers and used the same tool to insert the new parts into the mounting cup on the truck frame. The mounting tray has tabs that hold the part in place. No screws or other fasteners are required. Fits perfectly. Easy…

Pros
  • Perfect for a small house
Cons
  • Almost never
