Original Honda seal

The replacement part came quickly and fits perfectly. The leak has stopped for now, but being a real Honda I'm confident in the quality of the part.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Some small things

Fits 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L

Our van found a leak in the oil filter assembly. I ordered this gasket, installed it, no leaks. Be sure to lubricate the gasket before installation. I have an extra liter of 30 watts that I used to lubricate this seal.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Faulty

Check the goods in time

Good quality product. However when ordering it was stated it would fit the Odyssey Ex, seven months later when I was working on it I found it didn't fit. It's too late now and Revane was only changed to a pilot's fit, but the description mentioned an Odyssey.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Made in Thailand for oil filter

Had a better price but noticed it came without the metal shield in the 2nd hole as shown on other OEM parts (with the exact same part numbers) that it must have . Haven't used it yet but so far out of 6 different Honda seals I've bought from Revain, 2 are made in China and this one is made in Thailand. The other three were Japan and the US, which I think is correct. The overall chance is 50-50 if you want Japan or the US.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
