The easiest solution ever! for parts

For the money associated with this and another speed sensor assembly, the problem I had was solved at a much lower cost than I could have imagined! Although it took some work to access both sensors, after the replacement the car no longer had any weird shifting problems (shifting when warm and at high speed).

    Great and cheap repair!

Exactly what I was looking for. The quality of this piece was very good. I went to 2 well known auto parts stores and both stores charged about $70 for this part. The price the seller asks is very reasonable. The installation went very well and the part was right away. I've been driving the car for about 2 days now and everything seems to be working better than before. The car seems more like a "get up and go".

    • Long delivery time

I don't know if it's related or maybe caused one of the sensors to fail, but after swapping the input and output sensors and stripping/reconnecting the wire with a nut, I have a working $60 speedometer match the original with an exact value. Hyundai/Kia spare parts. By the way, I won't complain. The…

Back on the road with sensors

On a dark and rainy Friday night my Elantra decided to turn on the check engine light and leave the transmission locked in third gear. I pulled quickly to the curb, attached the scanner and saw that the code was pointing to the transmission input sensor. I cleared the code and reset the transmission, which allowed me to drive another five minutes before re-entering the code. I pulled over, cleaned up, and drove off - only to have the check engine light come on again. Needless to say, I was…
