🔧 Genuine Hyundai 81447-4D500 Actuator Motor: Reliable and Efficient Motor for Hyundai Vehicles Review

Works great BUT didn't fit directly. There are videos where people just take the door apart and unscrew the little box that holds this motor. Not so in my van. This box is sealed FOREVER. I had to use a hand held circular saw and open it up to get to the motor, replace it and then reattach the box. It's been over a month and it's working fine. This engine is very powerful and makes up for the poor design of Kias.

Little did I know when I ordered the engine that the door lock in my Kia had previously been replaced with a non-original door lock assembly. The OEM motor shaft and worm gear are too long to fit an aftermarket door lock and I haven't seen a way to shorten the motor shaft without destroying the motor. 3 stars only because of the fit. If your door lock assembly is an OEM, the motor will likely be a perfect match.

. The dealer is offering the entire assembly for just over $250, it worked and "upgraded" it for a fraction of the cost. You can see in my drawing that the old motor had a broken plastic gear. Although the metal gear on this one is shorter than the plastic gear on the old one, it works great. Original Kia spare part.
