Vintage Couture Men's Genuine Leather Handmade Laptop Messenger Briefcase Bag: A Timeless Style Statement Review

The bag is as nice as the photos, thick leather (my preference), good buckles and fits what I need. However, there are 4 very practical zippered compartments. Only one out of four flashes worked. Otherwise a great purchase. JBC

I was hoping to upgrade to something more stylish than my backpack which I have had for over 7 years and decided to give it a try. It says 16 inches and it is. I as an engineer need a 15.6 inch laptop maybe some instructions and such. Will not happen. Once the laptop is in the bag, there's little room or flexibility for anything less than a notepad, let alone an AC adapter. I also found the pockets useless for their size.

**UPDATE** Although my initial rating was based on what I received, I felt it was unfair not to upgrade my experience to 5 stars based on my experience with the Customer service. I was pleased.

I like that it's not very thin and flexible, holds its shape even when empty. Holds everything: laptop, notebooks, pens, notes, cellphone. Headphones, wallet, keys, prescriptions, glasses. I can actually overload it, but it takes it well! I put a thin piece of laminate on the bottom to keep it level until the shipping creases are smooth. And it has some sticky stuff in the pockets, in the seams where they're sewn. It will dry, I'm sure. I love the bag! Well! Really sweet!

I bought this bag for my boyfriend as a birthday present. He loved it and I was amazed at how many pockets this bag had. It's very roomy and he loves to carry his books in it. The band is well made, so you don't have to worry about it slipping off. It arrives with a slight odor and is covered in oil, but as long as you let it air out a bit it's fine. The skin is beautiful too.

This bag has everything I wanted. Reminds me of an old camera bag. I got so many compliments! Other reviewers note the bag's smell. The metal clasps and buckles on the straps are well oiled and have a slight metal odor. The skin smells too. Neither is uncomfortable, but I still notice it after using it for a few months. So far this bag meets all my needs. The shoulder strap feels a bit flimsy for me, but when the bag is loaded with all my work stuff, it feels right on my shoulder. I like that the strap has a belt buckle adjustment compared to a slider. This bag is 100% worth $60. The photos in the product description are exactly the same as the bag I received. I am more than satisfied with this bag and can recommend it.
