There are no more leaks. - Spares

Used on passenger side in my sparsely populated area 2007. Fixed oil leak. I recommend using some type of pipe thread sealant on steps.

Genuine part fits Transmission and parts

This is a genuine Subaru part. This seems to have fixed a small oil leak I had on that side of the engine. The price was significantly cheaper than at the dealer. Fast shipping too.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Remanufactured Code P0028

If you have codes P0028 or P0026 the two most likely culprits are contamination/low oil level or this switch is not working properly. It's a pretty cheap replacement part, so I'll just do that instead of trying to check voltages, resistances, etc. Genuine Subaru part. no problems installing/replacing. Attracted to 16nm.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So far so good

A cost-effective solution to a serious handling problem.

My 2010 coded P0026 and accelerated very poorly and jerkily every time the throttle went over 1/4 and the rpm was over 3000. Tried an oil change first, then this. Don't over tighten or you could damage the receiving part of the engine. It is better to pay $150-$200 at a store or dealer!

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • zero

Peace of mind at a great price

This part was used to replace the oil pressure sensor on a 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5 liter sedan. Remove old oil pressure sensor. Since replacing this part and writing this review, I've ridden over 600 miles and haven't had any leaks. Would definitely buy again or recommend to a friend or customer interested in this part.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Burnt smell of rubber/oil fixed! 2008 Subaru Legacy

We had a burnt rubber smell in the cabin and code P0028 on our 2008 Subaru Legacy 4cyl. Plumes of smoke formed under the hood around the oil filler neck. I've searched various forums for a problem and it was suggested to change this sensor. Bought two because after the failure of the first, the second is due to fail soon. Both are easily replaced with a 24mm deep drill socket, a 6-8" extension, a ratchet and some threadlock. DO NOT OVERLOAD! They use tapered pipe threads and do not screw the…
