If you've been using your headphones for over a year, buy new earbuds and they'll be like new again!

After using HD650 headphones for several years, I really didn't know what I was missing. Worth the money to replace the headband and ear pads. Made them like new except for the lack of a clip when they were new. worth your money. Also, I would advise to only use Sennheiser OEM models. I have seen many problems with spare parts of third-party providers (funny smells of new pads and different sound properties that like other headphones sound when no Sennheiser pads are used). If your ear pads are starting to look worn, get this replacement set as soon as possible.

I have had a few SENS HD600 for about a year and a half. I washed the ear pads a few times since I got them because they got stinking, but I destroyed the foam and the drivers came too close to my ears and destroyed the sound stage. So I decided to replace them and voila! Now my pair sounds like new. Beautiful surround sound has finally returned. I forgot what her correct sound signature is. Whom it concerns, they are what they say; Replaceable original pads. For that I give five stars. That being said, I bought them mainly to find out if the OEM earcups had any effect on the sound compared to my plush leather earcups that now come with my Sennheiser HD650. The short answer is that they made a difference. To be honest, that's a bit of an understatement. If you like a muffled sound, go for the original pads, otherwise get a pair of plush leather pads. Don't even think about buying "unofficial " replacement pads. You want it.

Like many "audiophiles" of a certain age, my first pair of "high" headphones was the famous Sennheiser HD580.
