Direct replacement best in caliper bolts and pins

One of my original bolts in my '09 WRX got stuck and luckily I got it out by heating it with a flashlight. It was pretty round so I ordered it as a replacement. Only one came according to the description, but it fit perfectly.

2009 WRX Sedan: Calipers & Parts

Overcomplicated Bolt. Best price for this screw. Hardware stores won't have it, and I haven't had any luck anywhere else. This bolt is the bolt that connects the caliper to the steering knuckle. Sturdy and did its job. The rusty ones are gone and complement the new brake setup. I will continue to buy as needed.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Disappearing

I'm glad I bought 4 of these when the first original broke.

A bit pricey but worth it. I wish I had them before I broke the first one. As soon as the first one broke I stopped working on the rotor and just installed the pads until I had 4 new bolts. I'm glad I did this because I broke 3 out of 4 of these on my front brakes. I evaluated the caliper struts and decided to buy new calipers with struts instead.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Working speed

Not enough information and not suitable!

This ad says it will fit my 2003 Outback but doesn't list a front or rear wheel. I could verify this if the screw sizes were on this list. I received two screws that do NOT fit in the rear but MAY fit in the front of the car. I later bought the correct size and quality bolts and lock washers from Autozone where I could measure them. I recommend others to do the same.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not sure

This is the bolt that holds the caliper bracket to the hub.

You can go to the hardware store and buy something similar (12 x 1.25, 40mm long I think?), but it won't be quite right. The threads on the stock bolt are slightly more tapered, allowing it to easily go through the hub but still bolt to the bracket. It is important! You should be able to press the bracket firmly against the hub. If the screw gets stuck in the hub, you'll end up with a very slightly loose mount! Loud brakes and possible danger.

Pros
  • Ease of Installation
Cons
  • Reliability

Fits my 2009 Subaru Forester SH

This bolt holds the front caliper bracket in place. This is a screw that fits a 17mm head (it also has a number 9 on it. As shown in the photo) I'm not sure why Amazon says it doesn't fit my car but I took the risk anyway. There are two of these screws on the driver's side and two on the passenger's side. I needed this in an emergency and the seller was incredibly fast with shipping and I just want you to know what it has meant to me around the world. Many Thanks. Suitable for your Subaru…
