They will be shipped plain gray regardless of part number or picture. It fits the same, but I had to completely disassemble it to put the colored part of the old piece on the new one. It would be fine if they were open about it.

I ordered this after making sure I got brown instead of grey, but still got gray in the post. It fits and works well though. never mind I took a photo with the old one so you can see the color difference.

Thank you! That was excellent! The color pictured is brown but it comes in a light gray case but don't worry. You can take the lock out of your body and put it into the black lock holder, then put it into your body and install it. Everything is done in about 15 minutes!

For some reason I thought it was fawn or tan. But he was grey. And when I look at the picture I ordered from him, he's grey. Luckily I was able to separate the gray handle from the mechanism and use my original brown handle. The delivery was delayed a bit. The tracking sucked. It showed that he was in California until he arrived in Arkansas.

Works as expected. The only thing that was a little annoying was that it looked like I ordered a brown cap and got a gray one instead. This is an easy fix though, if you still have the old deadbolt (which you should do if you want to keep the same lock), just remove the brown deadbolt and replace it with a gray one. Just make sure none of the nipples break off. And then all you have to do is insert your old lock into the new latch and screw the latch onto the glove box and it works like new.
