At first I thought they were good - firstly. Then a spring arm broke making these wire cutters difficult to use. The metal handle is very thin, so it breaks in half after regular use on the cuticle. Worse, this is the second pair I've bought that has done this. The picture shows that the metal arm closest to you/the viewer is broken. I have a 1/12 jaw cuticle nipper and love them and wanted another pair so ordered 3/4 jaw this time. The two lever springs (don't know what they're called) didn't match, and that's why the wire cutters didn't work. Sent them back and got another pair and they had the same problem so they came back. Where is the quality control in your production? They are very expensive but if they worked they would be worth the money. I just ordered another 1/2 pine and pray I don't have the same problem.

Item received on February 4th. After that my wife used it and it broke after 1 month of use :-( This is very very sad because the zinger has been a very good product all along and the previous cutter lasted 10 years before it became dull. This article didn't get blunt (that sharp) but it broke.I hope the quality of zinger hasn't deteriorated and this is just a case but I'm giving 1 star because it's really sad.Also I'm going to give this product to my not recommend friend.

I agree that the steel is of excellent quality. Leather bags are good too. HOWEVER, there are major quality problems. More specifically, feathers. When opening a thin paper package during the inspection, the spring in the ergonomic scissors burst. The spring on the cone cutter will scratch the handles when opening and closing the tool. I AM NOT IMPRESSED. I also tried sharp cuticle scissors and they weren't sharp. By the way, ergonomic knives are not sharp either. (see photos)

I loved them and have used them before. This time the product arrived with a defect. Spring arms (whatever they're called) aren't attached in the right place and don't have the usual bend to open the spring. The cuticle trimmer needs to be opened or disconnected every time. Returned once, changed - the same defect. Now it's too late to return that second one after leaving town. Frustrated, unhappy, buys another product.

These clippers are VERY sharp, very well aimed and solidly built. With cheaper clippers, quality matters; Well, it's more likely to miss than hit, and the cost of buying back a hair clipper adds up. Yes, it's more expensive than the cheap versions, but the quality you get is worth it. If you want the things you buy to last and still be of high quality, these clippers will give you years of enjoyment with proper care.
