These charcoal filters work great, for the price I change them every 2-4 weeks and vacuum in between. The particles they capture can be so small that after removing the old one, they look like smoke. Odors are also removed very well. I have bought many times and will continue to do so.

I bought these to replace an old charcoal filter and was shocked to see the old one! I've attached a picture so you can see the difference! I love the price as it extends the life of my HEPA filter, I just had to replace the charcoal filter and it fits perfectly.

Fits the GermGuardian air filter that I bought. Compatible with this device and only with this device. I love my air purifier and don't know how I used to live without it. If I remove the back to see if it needs changing. There used to be excellent replacement parts. I've been using them for over a year but this month the replacement came out much cheaper and thinner than before. and weak. I hope it was an accident and the quality will improve.

I have a separate review on the air purifier they go with (didn't care) but if I review this product myself then it's perfect for replacing the filter on your purifier. I mean it really should be because that's the only purpose. it's not much more than a small strip of foam. You might be able to just wash the one that came with the kit and you'll be fine.

People are only activated carbon pre-filters that are placed before the HEPA filter to extend its life. I did not find the product description misleading at all. These are the exact same dimensions and material as the activated carbon pre-filter that came with the standard filter that came with the air purifier! Did you really think you got 4 HEPA filters? for about $12? They're on sale for $30 each! Oh God.
