Great idea, poor execution

Love the pen, I'm looking for a quality case with a pen like this, but the pictures tell the story themselves from that. The rubber cover does not match the shape or form of the included hard case in any way. I've never seen anything so bad. I have to assume it was the wrong part in the box, but it's close enough to make me believe it's really that bad.
