Idk what the end result is because I just washed my hair, but this stuffs smells absolutely horrible. Im extremely sensitive to smells, and I will probably not buy it again because of the smell alone. The night after I put it in, I had to change my pillowcase halfway through the night, because I couldn’t take the smell anymore. After using it and waiting a few washes, my hair is coming out in clumps. I have 3B hair so idk if that’s why, but if you have 3B hair, maybe get something else.

Forte did wonders for me although it did not last as advertised I decided to give the formaldehyde free version a shot. I liked how simple it is to apply this product compared to the forte version. Unfortunately this version did not do anything for my hair. It would've been fine even if my hair didn't turned out straight as long as it was soft, silky and manageable but none of those my achieved.

I wanted to try something less harsh, formaldehyde free and took less time to do so I ordered this. When I rinsed my hair it felt smooth so I was hopeful it worked but realized when I dried it, it didn’t do anything as far as straightening goes and my hair isn’t all that curly. I followed the instructions but by time I washed my hair it was already back to normal. I don’t believe it even did anything for the frizz.

If there was something left in the bottle, I would’ve returned it. The contents of this bottle is barely enough to cover your head. I appreciate the fact that it didn’t have a burning smell to it but it had no effect on my 4c hair. After straightening, my hair looked just as straight as it would’ve if I didn’t use this. It was very disappointing.

So far so good, I like that this product smells good, vs like chemicals. I washed my hair 3 times with clarifying shampoo. Then applied the product as if I was applying conditioner. I combed it through really well. Let it sit for only 20 minutes. Make sure to not scratch your head before hand so your scalp won’t tingle. I rinsed the keratin treatment out. So yes this product has no fumes but you are definitely given other downsides in place of that. The bigger issue with this is the smell. It will linger in your hair for days. The results were also a little underwhelming compared to a regular keratin treatment. I would only recommend if you absolutely cannot tolerate the fumes from the regular product. That being said if you are sensitive to smell you will not enjoy this.

I have been using this formaldehyde free keratin treatment for more than a year. It works good because it has no harsh smells or fumes and very easy to apply. My only complaint is that it is very watery now. Every time I buy a new bottle it comes thinner and thinner just like water. Makes it very hard to apply when it is dripping everywhere. Don’t know why they are changing the consistency. Please Keragen people improve this! If this keratin keeps coming like water,I will not buy this brand…

I was thinking this will be a long process to do on my hair but actually not to bad and best of all it works. I have frizzy wavy hair not a lot of hair but long and the frizzness makes it seem as if I have lots of thick hair. But after the treatment my hair is smooth and straight I love it less tangled too.
