Inexpensive set. In general they are much more functional than I thought. The pots are lightweight and will stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. I love the simple style and that the lids have vents to let out steam which helps with cooking. I am very happy with the set, I bought another one for my mother. Great for novice families, small kitchen spaces, and colleges :) Again, they're lightweight, don't expect heavy stainless steel cookware, but they're made for everyday use.

Before I say anything else, the buyer must understand that this cookware is not heavy. I knew what I was buying when I bought this dish. It is designed for those who want stainless steel cookware at a great price. As long as buyers are aware of this when purchasing, they will not be disappointed. It was exactly what I needed. In fact, last summer I had to start furnishing my new apartment from scratch - new furniture, new crockery, etc. These pots were just what I needed. They're durable enough

Why I gave this set 5 stars: I don't like coated cookware! I don't like the idea of the coating peeling off during cooking or getting into the food. I don't like using "plastic" utensils (which melt and aren't very hygienic, easy to clean or germ free/resistant) to avoid scratching the coating, it's just awful. It's also uneconomical to constantly swap out all that dirt! I love "healthy" old fashioned stainless steel (SS) cookware! I can't afford heavy SS cookware so I bought this set. This is…
