I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

As in any laptop with such a filling and such a thin and compact case - it is hardly possible to reach the maximum power of iron, throttling, overheating - at full power this is a common thing (I owned gaming models of Asus Rog laptops - their situation is worse, here the temperature is under load below). I needed a working laptop, but I also occasionally play games, I could consider the option of a separate device for games (heavy laptop or system unit) and a light ultrabook for work, but…

Pros
  • This is understandable without comment - powerful, very powerful. The keyboard is comfortable, the riser blade is more convenient, and perhaps a little more convenient than a macbook (good key travel). A 144hz screen is a curse. after working on such a screen, it is difficult to return to 30/60hz screens (sometimes you have to). Very cool design (not banal and at the same time modest, not loud), the display is impressive, the feeling of a "floating" screen produces a wow effect.
Cons
  • Battery. According to the passport - the most capacious in this class 94 Wh. One of the main reasons for the acquisition and also disappointment. Judging by the reviews, the model should live from 6 to 8-10 hours of office work. However, no matter how I turned the drivers into whatever ultra-power-saving mode I switched, the maximum is 4 kopeck hours. From which I conclude that the gigabyte was screwed up with some kind of driver or something like that, maybe. the samples that got to the reviewers worked flawlessly for a long time. I hope they will soon release an ate of all firewood and everything will be in order. Assembly. For such an expensive device, I would like everything to be directly premium and monolithic, but no - everyware is plastic. It is assembled at a good level, but I want it at a premium level (like a raiser blade).

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

For half the money, you can find laptops with better performance, but with three times worse autonomy and much larger sizes and weights with the same screen diagonal.

Pros
  • Performance: The GTX 1060 and i7-7700HQ are more than adequate for most games at max 1080p graphics settings. Despite the gaming characteristics, the appearance is quite strict - it is quite possible to bring a laptop to the office. Portability is top notch. 15 inch screen without frames, the laptop itself is close to 14 inch in size. A 94Wh battery, when surfing the Internet, watching a video, the battery may well last for 7-8 hours (wifi, bluetooth on, backlight ~ 50%). Lots of ports. Despite the thin body, there is even an ethernet. There is thunderbolt in the form of usb-c, but there are complaints about it (see disadvantages).
Cons
  • Build quality is not great. My copy has a fairly noticeable "leakage" of the screen backlight, in daylight with normal use, a bright spot is visible near one of the corners. The problem, judging by the forums, is quite common. Dissatisfaction also emerges on the forums that thunderbolt does not work at the speeds declared in the advertisement (tb2.0x4 instead of the promised tb3.0x4).

Stunning display and powerful performance

This laptop exceeded our expectations with its stunning OLED display and powerful performance. Based on our own experience, it's a great choice for graphic designers and gamers alike. The color accuracy is excellent and the keyboard is comfortable to use for long periods of time. The only downside is that the battery life could be better, but it's understandable given the high-end specs. Overall, a great investment for anyone in need of a high-performing laptop for computers and tablets.

Pros
  • The Gigabyte AERO 15 OLED SA 7US5130SH has a stunning 4K OLED display which delivers excellent picture quality and color accuracy, making it perfect for content creators and professionals who require high color precision.
Cons
  • The laptop's premium features and high-end components come at a hefty price, which may be too expensive for those on a tight budget.
