It's nice and warm/soft if you use it for layering otherwise the sherpa will be a little thin on the inside. My only complaint right now is that the hood is ridiculously small for some odd reason. I bought the small and it fits well, but I probably should have gone to a medium size to have more room underneath when layering.

Unfortunately I bought this for the cold season and it was warm then so I can't return it. The zipper broke after 3 or 4 wears. It was always difficult to align perfectly, and even that broke. I'm not picky about clothes or mechanical things - I have a lot of stuff I've had for decades so it's not user error. The rest of the hoodie makes a good impression - not perfect, but acceptable for the price. However, the zipper is very important to stay warm.
