Ultimate Comfort and Durability: Gildan Heavy Cotton Youth T-Shirt Review

I bought two of these in size XS "Yellow Haze" for my 7 year old. He's a little short for his age and usually wears a size 6. They're a bit big, but in line with most of the other solid color t-shirt brands around here. I bought 7 different brands to compare quality/cost/colors for a project where I need multiple t-shirts. The fabric on it isn't very heavy, about average - definitely not light. Very high-quality workmanship - clean cut and seams. COLOR is not "Yellow Haze", but bright yellow.

This is a good shirt and the fit was good. My son is 7. The only slight disappointment was that the shirt was so dark green it almost looked black. This is not the green color shown in the seller's photo. It wouldn't have made much of a difference at all, but it was for his Christmas play and it had to be a specific color. So the fit was good, the shipping was fast, the price was good but the color was wrong.

Pretty plain t-shirt. We bought it for a play my daughter was in. She continues to wear it because she loves the color. It has been washed many times but it is still light green.

Wore it as part of a Halloween costume (Yoshi), but continues to wear it as a regular t-shirt. I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality.

We bought two different colors. The yellow was very, very small and the green was quite large. Both XS. Yellow is more like 3T; Green was more like a 5T. I don't know why they were different when we bought the same size.

I bought two of these shirts, both in size XS (green and brown). The sizes are very different! I don't have time to return them but I'm very disappointed with the size. I gave two stars because they arrived on time.

Frustrated that I can't return it. I got it today and it's too big. it is not after 30days. It was not specified when ordering that it was exchangeable.

I wanted to buy some brightly colored t-shirts in an unusual color so that when we took my 8 year old son to the Revolution football game with his friends we could spot the lost child. I searched a lot to find cheap shirts in the right color (fluorescent would be a bit better) and I settled on this one. The first batch I received was too small. There was an error in the size chart. The quality of the fabric is normal, the fit is normal. But the quality of the stitching is not very good. I ordered 3 of these shirts. Maybe they've all been washed 2 or 3 times and ALL the underarm seams need repairing. The stitches either unraveled or didn't fully capture the tissue at all. annoys me a lot.

This shirt is small for adults, not for kids. I didn't realize it until I took it out of the box to make a shirt for my friend's kid.

I needed a 100% cotton t-shirt to dye my tie and this t-shirt fitted perfectly! I washed it in hot water, then dried it, it became soft and durable. Didn't shrink.

The shirts are suitable for every child, I ordered them for my class in kindergarten. I ordered all one size and they all fit.

I was looking for a 4T shirt for my nephew so I can make him and his brothers matching shirts. Luckily, the XS I found here worked just the way I needed it. This is a great product, lovely color and matches perfectly with those I bought from my local older boys store.

Good fit, good color. Had to stick with Hanes for softness. They are portable and economical, but by no means convenient. They need to be washed several times to "comfort" and resist color fading, so not the best choice for comfort and durability.

Arrived as expected, the size is correct, the product corresponds to the description. The quality of the shirt was pretty bad, the stitching is starting to deteriorate after a wash. Overall, this shirt isn't bad, but I may have to replace it soon. I think you get what you pay for.

I ordered this for my grandson to surprise him when he visits me for a week with his brother and sister. At this rate it doesn't get done when they arrive or leave! Extremely disappointed

First I ordered the size Medium Youth, color Chamomile. The fit is great as I would expect from a medium size. I decided to order a different color so I went back to the same page I ordered on. Size medium youth, Heliconia color. The label is exactly the same as on the first t-shirt: Youth Medium. The second shirt, Heliconia, in size Youth Medium suits a little boy! I used it for my son's costume. This is a plain green t-shirt. It turned out to be a beautiful bright colour. Was a little bigger than expected but that's usually ok for me with growing kids.

Good quality t shirt. I have purple and black shirts. great color It's big for my 5 year old. I bought the size Small. Thanks to the quality of the shirt, he can grow into it and enjoy it for a long time.
