I've been using the same Atra Plus pen since I was young. I've always had a lot of irritation on the back of my neck, but I assumed it was just a fact of life. Then I left my pen with my relatives and had to get a disposable Mach 3 to fill - and it was much better. The shave is smoother and more even, the blades last longer and irritation is reduced. Especially now that the Mach 3 replacement tips are cheaper than before, I didn't hesitate to upgrade to the Mach 3.

Okay, I'm not just old school, I'm old. But when they first hit stores in the early '70s, they specifically demonstrated (in an animated film) how the first of the two blades cut through most of the mustache, pulling it a little out of the skin. Those giving 5 stars and praising these blades should not understand what a complete and utter crap they are for the price they charge compared to what they were. After being told that although I'm a retired soldier and in my 50's, I haven't achieved Better Men yet. So, I shaved this morning with Gillette Atra Plus blades and my toxic manhood exploded, ripping apart a previously unnoticed uterine wall. It turns out I can no longer open doors for my wife, unscrew can lids, or take out the trash. My wife hates you and me. Thank you for making me what men can be.

It is very important to consider 0 stars. After 45+ years I have to throw away my ATRA razor. Because Gillette is more interested in the social media hype than in selling razor blades, I bought an electric razor at the age of 76. I'll skip Kronberg, which as far as I know is the German subsidiary of Procter & Gamble.

This is my second failed order. Each blade is only good for one shave. Very weak. Have been using them for years but the quality has gone down. I cannot recommend this source for AltraPlus razor blades. Another great example of the failure of the American promise of quality.
