Gillette Antiperspirant Deodorant 2 Pack Packaging Review

I've had problems with irritation from gel deodorants in the past. I mistakenly ordered this from my main pantry thinking it was an improved solid version but it was a gel instead. I decided to give it a try and I couldn't be happier. Not only does this work better than other brands I've had, but it works better than Advanced Solid and requires less work. I was very impressed and would recommend it to anyone in need of serious sweat protection.

I was really looking forward to this product because of the high ratings. For the background, I don't have sensitive skin. I've tried several deodorants before (unscented and others) with no problems. The day after using this product, I developed contact dermatitis under my arms, which took 10 days and several visits to dermatologists for treatment (antibiotics, ointments, etc.). The regulator at the bottom either doesn't do anything or the gel seeps everywhere and makes a mess. I suspect this is more the fault of all antiperspirants that use this design, but I should mention it in case anyone is thinking of switching from a clear stick, ball, or spray. I've tried many deodorants/antiperspirants to find one that doesn't leave white spots or streaks and really works and doesn't have a lot of chemicals. I really like this Gillette Hydra Gel. It smells really good and I sweat a lot and it keeps my shirts from getting wet under my armpits. The gel feels good too, it comes out of the holes after you turn the knob on the bottom. That's my only downside. It's hard to turn the knob and the stuff takes a while to come out and then turning the knob back

My husband has been using it for many years. He has sensitive skin and some deodorants irritate him. He never got a rash from it.
