My latest pack of 52 Gillette Sensor Plus2 blades seems to be better than my last pack I bought a few years ago. I used to shave about 10 times with a razor. My criterion is that the blade is too dull when the first part of the touch stripe is completely erased as shown in the picture. It takes about 15 shaves to wipe the sensor strip in the last pack of blades. I am very pleased that the quality of the new blades seems to be better than my previous set. I have been using Sensor Plus 2 for over 15 years. They are cool. Hopefully Gillette will keep them going. Tried all Gillette disposable razors and they were bad. Why? 1. The blades are not sharp even if there were five.2. The blade is pivotable. When the blade turns up while shaving, the blades will bounce off the skin.3. Uncomfortable to hold.4. If you're the type of person who shaves body hair like me, it has the benefit of a good trim to get the job done. The problem is where to find a place to keep it in a way that won't destroy it until there's a chance to use it all, and not so much that you don't use it all. God I hate those wrinkled razor bags. What a mess. Straight razors always get tangled or fall out. Until suddenly there are only a few razors left.
